Right up front I've thought about this issue for a long time, and read and studied  Scripture to see what it says. The Bible talks about beings that left their appointed estate and came to earth mating with human women.

The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came into the daughters of men, and they bore children to them, these the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown" Genesis 6:1-4 

And how God dealt with these fallen beings in Jude 1:6

"And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness, to be reserved under judgment..."

Satan and his fallen angels which are now demons, have been entering the human plane for thousands of years. Once Satan was tossed out of heaven because of his extreme pride, ( Take note Pride month) and one third of the angels fell with him, they entered the realm of human beings.

Because of my study of these things for years, my belief is that Aliens UFOs, UAPs, ghosts or whatever you want to call them are demonic entities, sent by Satan to deceive mankind.

Recent statements by even our government officials are saying UFOs may be real, and that we are not alone in the universe.

35 years ago when the Internet was still young I used to read webpages about " The great alien deception" These sites were written by Christians who believed that in the last days, there would be a massive amount of deception using aliens, UFOs to trick and deceive millions into thinking that the human race actually comes from Aliens, that our religions were started by Aliens from other worlds, and that there is no God, but that aliens became our gods, from the beliefs of the south American Incas, to the Hebrew God, and even the Christian God.

The Alien deception websites posited that in the final days "Aliens" ( which are actually demons) would show up on earth ( Similar to the Nephilim I mentioned above), claiming to be "gods" and would have technology and powers well beyond that of humans...

This would fool and deceive millions of people, maybe even billions, and would be Satan's last push, his last final deception to trick as much of humanity that God doesn't exist, that all the stories of gods were actually stories of Aliens entering the human realm.

Steven Spielberg is likely the most celebrated movie director of our time...his films over the last 60 years have been viewed by hundreds of millions. Films shape how people think and believe and Spielberg knows this. He's been making films about Aliens for decades ( And so have several other film and television producers)

But Spielberg is not a Christian, he does not believe in Jesus as the Son of God, and frankly, I don't think he even believes in his own Jewish Hebrew faith. At best I think Spielberg is an agnostic, and probably more likely an atheist.

People like Spielberg ( And many others) have agendas, and they have tickets to sell, he wants his movie to be another blockbuster, so he can add more money to the billion he's already worth. He's not interested in truth or reaching people for God, people like him have made themselves little gods, and as the Bible teaches us...

" For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine, but with itching ears, they will gather around themselves teachers to suit their own desires" 2 Timothy 4:3

And..." And no wonder, since Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light, so it is no great surprise if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness... 2 Corinthians 11:14-15

Don't be fooled by people who just want your money and have an agenda they're pushing...Because you might just be listening to demons...DT

My conversation with a Communist and his cat in a Bar

 Yes, the title is accurate...

Sitting in playing music and having a beer in a bar a couple nights ago I decided to then try a different spot. 

An Irish bar known for having traditional Irish music one night a week I sat down and saw across the bar a gentleman with a cat.

Yes, this guy had a cat with him in the bar, so I asked the bartender " Who's that guy over there with the cat?" She said " Yes he comes in regularly with his cat"

So, being a cat person myself having two felines, I approached the man and asked if I could pet his cat. He said yes, but she may get a little feisty. 

I let the cat check me out and then began petting her saying " She knows I'm a cat person"

I began conversing with this guy and he almost immediately said he's from Russia.

I would not have guessed that because he spoke perfect English with an American accent.

He said he immigrated to America 30 years ago, but then also told me he lives in China as well. So I deduced this man gets around...

"But I get around also a lot "I told him, "I'm a professional musician since the late 70s who's toured extensively in Europe and performed in Beijing as well as Communist Poland before the Berlin wall came down in 86."

I asked him "So as a former Russian what do you think of our politics, you know Trump and Biden?"

He said " Two sides of the same coin" Ok, I hear that a lot, so that wasn't that surprising...

But then I stated " I think Biden and democrats are actually more like Communists now"

He stated " Well it depends on your definition of Communism"

I've heard this before...Hard leftists Communists, and nearly ALL socialists will tell you " It depends on your definition of Communism/Socialism" Or, well the New type of Socialism is much different than 50 years ago, It's " Democratic Socialism"

I told him " I've seen real Communism with my own eyes in Poland and more recently in Beijing in 2009"

He said " Well that was a long time ago, China's much different now"

I said, uh not really, the Chinese Communists present a FACADE of Capitalism, but they still tightly control EVERYTHING that happens in that Country. 

He said " I think China is the way to go now, that's the was things need to go"

I was flabbergasted...In my mind I was thinking " This guy is the real deal, a hard core committed Communist who's either bought the Chinese propaganda, or is here in America to SELL Communism to Americans"

I asked " So are you a professor? Do you work at the University" 

" No" he said

OK, I didnt pursue his employment or career anymore.

But what I ended with was this " So you've come here from Russia, you've seen that kind of oppression and authoritarianism where you came from, and now you think China's system is the way to go forward?" I asked him,  "So what about the Chinese government squashing the Uihyger people and putting them in concentration camps? Or the Chinese govt. Crushing and bulldozing Christian Churches in different cities imprisoning some Christians for their beliefs?" 

He had no answer...

I walked away sort of shaking my head...

What ive learned the last 4 years...

 Quite a few of the supposed racist acts turned out to be hoaxes. ( Jussie Smollett, Bubba Wallace Garage pull rope)

The government will use a pandemic to try to gain extreme control over us. ( Lockdowns of Schools, Churches, theaters, forced Vakxz on Healthcare workers and many other professions and if they didnt get it they were fired), I was told personally by the Denver mayors office I can't play a music job in that town.

So called respected high ranking Healthcare officials either had no idea what they were doing, or were just flat out lying to us. 

Friends and even family would turn on eachother if they believed one of them was unvakzed. Some are still acting this way.

The Vakxz did not stop us from getting sick, nor did it stop transmission of Kovid. ( I got Kovid in November 2022, so did my Dad who's had 4 Vakzinations, I've had Zero.)

The Media are mostly liars who have political agendas. Or they're just reading a script handed to them and don't really care about what the truth is.

Social media companies run by mostly liberal democrats were definitely working with and colluding with FBI, Dept. Of Justice and more kicking off conservatives, or Trump voters, or just Republicans. Elon Musk buying Twitter has revealed all of this, which we knew to be true previously but just couldn't prove it.

Politicians lie constantly...

Politicians and high ranking health officials in government have become very wealthy the last 3 years through the pandemic.

If climate change is real, and the seas are rising, why are people like the Obamas buying multiple very expensive beach houses.

Politicians who virtue signal to their voter base that walls keeping out illegal immigrants at our border is immoral and not Christian like, but then will build new walls around their own houses to keep out the riff raff...

The people who scream the loudest about illegal immigration that we have to allow the entire world into our neighborhoods, when confronted with same illegal immigrants in their backyards did not want them there. (Martha's Vineyard, Kamalas front yard)

Politicians particularly of the Democrat type forced us to wear masks everywhere while they were caught numerous times violating their own mask rules.

Politicians told us not to travel, while traveling in airplanes themselves sometimes the very day they told us not to.

For 45 years women who have strived to gain equality in sports are now suddenly getting beaten by much larger and faster men pretending to be women. The government seems to be OK with this.

If we agree with 2,000 year old Christian doctrines and sacred vows of traditional marriage we're called bigots and homophobic.

 A Christian bakery owner can be sued three times by homosexuals even after winning his case at the supreme court, But those same people will say get your religion out my face and out of the public square.

If you riot in 20 American cities for 8 months burning down blocks and blocks of businesses and looting hundreds of walmarts and target stores and small businesses, you're called a "peaceful protester" by media and likely won't be arrested, but if you are a group of 200 or so angry Americans that were infiltrated by FBI plants egging them into the U.S. capitol, you're a violent insurrectionist and will spend 2 years in a D.C. Jail with no trial violating their constitutional rights...

People who are famous "Christians" will do things that are completely against what the Bible teaches and love the applause of the crowd.

My faith must be in The Lord Jesus Christ alone...

And that's what I've learned...

Democrats were once the champions of free speech. No longer...

 Not that long ago Democrats were the champions of free speech...

 I remember the protests on college campuses in the 60s and 70s where particularly at campuses like Berkeley in California or  C.U. Boulder the left marched and chanted Free Speech! And had signs declaring that.

Todays Democrats on college campuses and on the internet and particularly on social media like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube literally SQUASH the free speech of those they disagree with. 

How many times have we seen the likes of Ben Shapiro, Ann Coulter, Milo Yiannoupolis kicked off college campuses in the last five years? How many conservatives like James Woods, or Diamond and Silk, or Dan Bongino, or Sharyll Atkisson have been either shadow banned or completely kicked off those platforms? And that's just the famous ones...

How many Joe conservatives have been cyber jailed or put in facebooks famous timeout or completely kicked off these platforms? Heck I'm a nobody just a musician and I've been in Facebook timeout this year MORE than not...and don't smugly say "Well you violated their terms and they're a private business so they can do that"  

Hogwash, numerous times I've protested Facebooks judgment cyber jailing me and several times they've admitted a mistake.

  Today's Democrats are the exact opposite of what they were just a few years ago who now proclaim with their smug noses in the air that "Social media companies are private businesses who can ban, shut down, shadow ban and throw off of their platforms whoever they want" 

Wow, what a complete 180 degree turnaround from just 3-4 years ago. Suddenly, and within the last few years those on the left have now thrown away their anti capitalist anti corporate ideals, now proclaiming "Big business is great!, as long as it's big business that completely squashes and eradicates the free speech of those I disagree with! Awesome!"

Just a few years ago Democrats were still protesting "Down with the Man!" meaning down with the evil government leaders and bureaucrats and the military industrial complex they saw as wicked oppressors and war mongers. Now, Suddenly, Democrats are no longer screaming "Down with the man!" They ARE THE MAN.

Now that Democrats ARE THE MAN and in charge of big government and the millions of beauracrats like the 87 thousand new IRS agents that they want to hire and arm, suddenly it's "Hey! We need those thousands of Tax collectors to catch and arrest all the tax scofflaws!" Not to mention raid all the thousands of small businesses that we don't like! Arrest those Ruffian law breakers!" 

Hey, If they can raid the former presidents house what else can they get away with?

We won't mention that just two years ago during the height of the pandemic,  Democrat politicians like Pelosi, Maxine Watters, AOC or Others were saying " Oh those rioters in Kenosha and L.A. are just blowing off steam, I don't know why there aren't more protesters in the streets!" 

It's like Democrats core beliefs and ideals are completely fungible, able to change according to whether their politicians are in charge at the moment...

Or maybe they don't actually HAVE any core beliefs and ideals...but that's another blog...

We need to talk about Depression...

We need to talk about depression...

I've endured it several years ago (2007-2009)

It's like a gigantic black hole or cave that has no end, it's definitely real... Those who've never been in clinically diagnosed depression have no idea...

It's as real as your daily life or world, and to those in it they feel as there's no escape. Some are lucky enough to get a type of help that actually helps, I was one of those.

A Christian nurse I was pointed to by a counselor at a church I once played for, at the first meeting I had with her put me on different medications, that within 2 days made the black hole of depression nearly disappear. I also started sleeping again, which hadn't happened for 2 years...Is there some side effects to medication? Yes, but compared to the never ending black hole it's like waking up out of the worst nightmare you've ever had...

People around me ( Some) said I was making up clinical depression, that it was all in my head...even a doctor at my huge HMO said it was all in m head, with my relative agreeing with him while we were sitting in his office, in the same room...I guarantee you it's not all in your head.

As a Christian, I think there's a spiritual aspect to depression, or what the Bible calls "A spirit of heaviness" (Isaiah 61:3) because that's exactly what it feels like...

Thankfully I was able to pull out of clinically diagnosed depression with the help of a Christian nurse who was extremely wise, knowledgeable, and perceptive.

Unfortunately not everyone does...and a few get to the point where they see no way out.

If you feel like there's no way out...that the black tunnel will not end there's help. Try a different doctor, or a different therapist, or try a different medication because they are not all the same. You have to find what medication works for you...

If people around you are saying it's all in your head you should probably get away from them, at least for awhile, because they are not helping in any way, and in fact may be making it worse...

And Yes, pray like crazy and get around people who will pray with and for you, because it could be your life. Thanks.                 

I'm just the Sax Player...

The life and Career of a professional musician is something like this...

    If a working musician is really good... they'll have a ton of gigs or music performances in their lifetime, even thousands, especially when they're in their 20's, 30's and 40's and even up into their 50's or 60's, but they will also most likely be teaching students in some form. Whether it's at a school music dept., a College, or private lessons. There's a real possibility they'll also have a day job of some kind, say, bus driver, or website builder, or a computer graphics designer, or maybe on staff part time at a church playing every weekend.

If They're REALLY good and get lucky, they may be in a band that's touring and playing gigs in front of a lot of people and be fairly well paid for it, at least for awhile, but even those musicians have to find some sort of work when the Rock and Roll tour ends for the season and they're back home for 4 months.

Even those who get very lucky and land those coveted touring gigs where you're traveling all over the country (and out of the Country) those situations don't last forever...a player may have a touring job with a well known artist or band for maybe 4-6 years unless you're playing for the Rolling Stones, but even those touring situations end at some point...

Then the Band breaks up, or the artist that writes most of the songs gets a big head and breaks up the band and moves to Nashville or L.A. to be a rock star with no notice, and you are left floundering trying to find work...Or 2 members of the band can't get along and decide they want to do their own thing and so the band breaks up, and there goes the touring gigs with an almost steady paycheck coming in but not quite...

Most musicians don't reach that stage where they get hired by or help found a nationally known band that's doing arena rock gigs, and they'll most likely play thousands of gigs in local situations for several different bands in the same city. These high quality musicians will most assuredly have a teaching job of some sort, a private teaching studio, or some sort of day job as well as performing hundreds of gigs at corporate parties, weddings, clubs, bars, and social events such as summer in the park concerts locally every year.

Many of these musicians may have a steady church gig of some sort that pays them (If they're lucky) that they do after playing a couple late night shows locally in their town, and they will do this week in and week out for many years or even decades, while raising a family performing late night gigs until midnight or 1 am, then playing at church having to be there at 7:00 am (I did this for 20 years myself)

Even Bach had steady Church gigs...

If a musician is exceptionally good, they may make a partial living by playing on other people's records, or by running a recording studio themselves, where other artists pay them to use their recording studio. However, to do that you have to purchase a lot of very expensive professional recording equipment. and keep it updated constantly which is very costly...

In today's digital online virtual world some musicians make money uploading videos and their songs to streaming sites or huge video sites like YouTube. I myself do this and have hundreds of videos on YouTube...But these digital upload sites pay pennies, and I mean pennies for thousands of views or streams...

Some musicians land what's called a steady gig at a resort, restaurant, club, amusement park, or posh hotel where they'll stay employed for perhaps a few years and it will provide a decent living for that few years. But even those players may have to have a second job of some kind especially if they're married and have kids.

There are highly trained musicians that land long time gigs in symphonies or orchestras in the largest cities or for touring shows that come through big cities, but only the best of the best get hired for those big city symphony jobs and they are extremely competitive and not easy to land. Even those highly trained and world class symphony players may have to have a teaching gig or a private studio, or online private lessons to pay rent in expensive big cities like New York or Chicago.

Those who compose music for Movies and TV shows are well paid if they're for network TV shows or large scale Films otherwise the pay may be meager for second rate films.

The reason I'm telling you all this is because a lot of people have no idea how a musician makes a living, and there are some today who think musicians should just play music for free because they download and stream music all day for free or pennies, so why should I have to pay a band or musician anything?

Yes, I've talked to those types over the last 20 years, thankfully most people are not that clueless, but please remember this what I've typed here the next time you want a band or a musician for your company event, party, wedding or social gathering. Thanks.

Why the Climate Justice crowd is dead wrong...

 Everything we use today is made of plastic or something derived from oil... The interiors of cars including electric cars are plastic or a synthetic material derived from oil, the computer screens that are in everything from cars to gamers monitors to iphones and all cellphones, to Macbooks, to the carpet in houses is made from synthetic materials derived from oil. Every drug we take whether prescription or non prescription comes in a plastic bottle that is derived from oil.

Eye glasses lenses and the frames are made from plastic derived from oil, the toothbrushes we use today including the bristles are made of plastic derived from oil, as well as the tubes our toothpaste is encased in. I remember in the 1970s toothpaste came in a soft metallic tube not plastic...the containers of everything from laundry detergent, to peanut butter jars, to quarts of motor oil, to ketchup and mustard bottles, to wrappers of bread keeping bread fresh are made from plastic derived from oil. 

The TV screens these millenials that rant about destroying big oil companies and STOP FRACKING watch Netflix on and the back panels are all made from plastic. The smart devices that millenials love to talk to and that make life so convenient are encased in plastic derived from oil. The tires on their cars are made from rubber and some form of synthetic materials or tar. The roads we all drive on are made from tar derived from oil...The bumpers, fenders and all lights on their Prius' and Teslas are plastic made from oil.

 Vinyl albums that woke climate justice millennials ( and older people) buy are made from oil. I bought many of those same vinyl albums 45 years ago and they were still made from oil back then...Their Bluetooth speakers are mostly plastic as are their blutooth headphones and car speakers are all plastic derived from oil... Their phone plug wires are coated by plastic, the phone plugs are encased in plastic, and the power strips we plug a hundred appliances and computers in are made of plastic...all derived from oil.

Anything we store food in to keep it fresher including refrigerator and freezer doors are plastic derived from oil. The credit and debit cards we're all becoming dependent on are made of plastic as are the card readers...

These climate justice people like AOC and most of that entire generation ( and older people who should know better) are so dependent on plastic derived from oil yet they're so ridiculously ignorant they think it all just appears out of nothing...they will destroy everything including their own standard of living ( and ours) and believe they're righteous and moral doing so...blindingly stupid.

Ghostbusters afterlife review ( From a Christian perspective)

First I'll say I'm a Ghostbusters fan I admit it and this new Ghostbusters film didn't disappoint.

This was obviously a labor of love for director Jason Reitman and an homage to his Father Ivan Reitman's two adored films of 37 years ago...

There are a large number of throwbacks and insertions in the new film of dialogue lines, ideas, and props taken straight from the original movie of 1984 which fans of these films will love including the one writing this...

This film had me laughing out loud in several places particularly the Stay Puft miniaturized living marshmallow men wreaking havoc in Walmart, a bizarre but hilarious scene straight out of todays Americana...

The first film in 1984 was extremely entertaining and had a lot of great humor, wit, a great plot line, and a certain spiritual element to it I've always found intriguing as a bible believing Christian...

Who can forget Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson talking about God, Jesus, and the dead rising from the grave as if it were the biblical last days in Ecto one in the first movie...

The paraphrase in that scene that Ackroyd quotes ( or misquoted the wrong verse number) is Revelation 6:12  "And I looked as he opened the sixth seal, and there was a great earthquake, the sun turned black as sackcloth and the moon became as blood" which is also used partially in the new films scene where the characters are driving through the gates of Egon Spenglers "Dirt Farm"

Having said that, I also keep in mind that the makers of Ghostbusters ( including the most recent film) don't really hold a Christian world view. Why? one might ask.

These films are extremely entertaining and fun to watch, but I've done my research on the filmmakers and screenwriters of the original two Ghostbusters movies, Harold Ramis and particularly Dan Ackroyd who is an extremely talented actor, musician, and filmmaker. All of the ideas used in the brand new film are derived straight from Ackroyds and Ramis' original screenplay of 1984.

Dan Ackroyd was raised a Catholic in Ontario Canada and even went to a Catholic seminary at one point and was considering becoming  a priest, but then quit school and became a comedian instead. From his own statements Ackroyd reveals he's brought his Catholic beliefs and inserted them into his films but also his Occultic beliefs he learned from his grandfather who was a Spritualist

Dan Ackroyd has stated a few things publicly that are a bit confusing and somewhat contradictory concerning his spiritual beliefs, like in one interview he says " I'm a Christian " but in a different interview he states he's a "Spiritualist". 

Spiritualism and Christianity are adamantly opposed to one another and here's why. 

Let no one be found among you who sacrifices his son or daughter in the fire, practices divination or conjury, inteprets Omens, practices sorcery, casts spells, consults a medium or spiritist, or inquires of the dead. For whoever does these things is detestable to the Lord. Deuteronomy 18:10-12

You must not  turn to Mediums or spiritists, do not seek them out, or you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God. Leviticus 19:31

Mr. Ackroyd says his grandfather was a Spiritualist which means they likely had seances at their house and spoke to the dead including dead relatives. 

He fully admits his belief in Spiritualism and that means it's likely he practices those rituals of seances, using mediums to speak to the dead, which would certainly explain the plots of some of his movies of which there's a plethora of dead spirits in the first film and this one demonic entities.

In The original film there's a scene where Sigourney weaver's character is possessed by "Zuul" as well as Rick Moranis' Character Louis Tully which holds true in this current sequel. 

The film makers admit to even naming the demons that possess their two characters as "Demon Dogs" so there's no hiding the fact that we're dealing with not just ghosts but demons.

The bible specifically forbids performing occultic rituals of speaking to the dead, or communicating with any supposed dead human, because it's not dead relatives you're talking to, its actually demons and this is dangerous.

Some might say "Well that's nonsense I don't believe in demons" but it's likely those same people believe in ghosts, or aliens, or area 51, or the earth is flat or "Speaking to dead relatives"

In Ghostbusters afterlife, the young character Phoebe (Played by the talented McKenna Grace) is in her grandfather's basement that was actually a scientific laboratory of sorts where objects begin to move on their own like lamps pointing her to certain things, or machines and computers just turning on by themselves.

I'm certain The Phoebe Character was modeled after a high functioning autistic child because she has few friends and doesn't really want any, but has a highly detailed and scientific mind of a much older girl. I mentioned this to my son while watching it who is a high functioning autistic and he agreed.

In another scene she moves a chess piece and other chess pieces begin moving by themselves. We are led to believe that this is actually Phoebe's Grandfather The Ghostbuster Egon Spengler prompting her...

As a bible believing Christian I know that any dead spirits communicating with living humans are not ghosts, your dead uncle, or your beloved grandfather, but actual Demons posing as such and they do this to deceive...

I enjoyed this film a lot and it was a needed break from 2021's deep division, constant barrage of pandemic coverage and increasing lawlessness I see happening. But as a Christian I know it's just entertainment and the idea of innocent Ghosts or spirits from the dead being benevolent versions of your grandpa are actually a lie.

This film had quite a few sexual references just as the first Ghostbusters did so I wouldn't take any child under 12 to it. We also watched a Grandma taking her 6 year old granddaughter out into the lobby because some of the Demon and Ghost battling scenes were too scary for her so keep that in mind if you plan on seeing this one.

Jezebel, Pharmakeia, Revelation 2 and The Jab

 In Revelation spoken of by Christ Himself.

The Greek for Sorcery is Pharmakon, or Pharmakos, or Pharmakeia. The use of medicines, drugs or spells, or Witchcraft or sorcery. This is where we get our word Pharmacy or pharmaceuticals from...

Revelation 2:20-21 Says " You tolerate that woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess, by her teaching she misleads my servants to be sexually immoral and to eat foods sacrificed to Idols. Even though I have given her time to repent of her immorality she is UNWILLING." (My emphasis)

An Idol can be a human like a pop star or rock star, or a President, or a Communist dictator, or even a Christian rock star, or an athlete or movie star, or even a religious figure like the Pope, or super mega TV Evangelists. An Idol can also be an object like a big fine house or an expensive car, or drugs, or like the Pachamama pagan Idols the Pope brought into the Vatican about 3 years ago...

Jezebel also leads the people of God into sexual immorality. How is that happening today to the people of God? Just look at most liberal churches today. Homosexuality is Ok with them, their pastors, priests, and teachers teach sexual immorality including homosexuality and transgenderism that it's Ok with their churches denominations and leaders.

They are teaching " My servants" or God's servants that sexual immorality is perfectly fine and acceptable...These liberal churches say Jezebel's teachings and use of sorcery (deception) and the normalizing of sexual immorality is Ok, but those who say it's wrong are called "haters" " homophobic" and even " immoral" when in fact it's the pushers of sexual immorality pushing transgenderism on 5 year old kids, men sleeping with men and women sleeping with women that are the ACTUAL immoral people, and they push it on our kids in schools and all over TV.

Even the so called Pope refused to confront the President of the U.S. about the sin of killing tiny human beings God says are made in His image two days ago ( October 28, 2021) in a private meeting in which no press was allowed, which has never happened before. The President ( who says he's Catholic) thinks abortion is just swell, which is COMPLETELY against the teachings of the Catholic church. In the Catholic church abortion is considered a MORTAL SIN and the Pope said nothing to him about it!

Today our nation is completely divided over this FORCED vaccine mandate, which is actually against the Constitution, not to mention our liberty, freedom, bodily autonomy, and " Choice" which leftists have thrown in our faces for 40 years concerning the killing of unborn life... Suddenly and hypocritically they now loudly say " You have no choice! Get the shot! You're selfish! You're killing people! I don't want unvaccinated hospital workers or police or military people unvaccinated around me so you're FIRED! Very Christ like No?

Never mind that their choice of FORCING others to NOT have a choice about a bunch of unproven chemical filled syringes that even thousands of medical workers don't want shoved in their bodies and are refusing becomes " Mandated"

" You refuse the shot and three or four or five boosters!, You have no choice so bye bye you lose your job and your pension, and your VA benefits because you're a BAD selfish person!"  "How dare you not bow to the Fauci God and Vaccine god!" 

 Oh wait...what we're we talking about earlier?...an Idol is anything that we worship instead of God like an object, person, or even a drug you're addicted to...or drugs illicit or illegal or legal, or even a drug pumped into our bodies by FORCE like a Vaccine because people have so bowed to the Pharmakeia, witchcraft, sorcery, or drug they believe will SAVE THE WORLD that it is now their god ( little g) or more accurately false god or idol.

And they treat it like their god...And you will bow to their little Idol god OR ELSE.

Let's pray that the real God sees all of this and will do something about this mess...

The Jesus Music Movie My review

This review is dedicated to the memory of Rob Marshall, our booking agent and band manager without whom Christian concerts in Colorado, Red Rocks, and the Rocky mountain region would not have existed...

There's probably spoilers here...Sorry. Just a heads up...

The Jesus Music Movie spoke to me on a personal level because I was a band member of one of the featured interviewees (Steve Taylor) and toured with several others as a backup musician in the 80's and 90's.

The Film starts with what was called the Counter culture Hippie movement in the late 60's early 70's as millions of young Americans followed the biggest Rock and Blues Musicians of that era like Jimmy Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Janis Joplin, only to watch said Rock Icons destroy themselves with drugs which was a part of that culture.

I can remember how much of an influence these rock stars had on the Hippie generation and those of us who were a little younger. 

I was a Jazz purist or what I now call a "Jazz snob" in those days so the death of Jimmy Hendrix or Janis Joplin from drug overdoses didn't have the same effect on me as it did on many other musicians I was around.

But I was aware of what it did to my generation...

Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison were revered almost like gods to the 60's and early 70's hippie generation and I purposefully use little g because they were obviously not gods and their deaths proved it...

So suddenly some of the Icons of those young people were dead, gone, and I can recall that the feeling of people my age and the older Hippies in their 20's was despair and despondency, that their Rock Idols were now humanized by their drug overdose deaths.

The Jesus Music film accurately describes what happened next and that was a new movement of young people turning to God and Jesus by the tens of thousands.

The new movement started at a Church in Southern California called Calvary Chapel who's Pastor Chuck Smith allowed a group of former hippies and new Christian converts audition for him and he was surprised and emotionally caught up by the music of a band called "Love Song"

They began playing at this Church (Which I played at 15 years later for about a year) and their music began drawing a lot of former drugged out barefoot hippies and "Flower Children" to now faith in Jesus Christ.

This Jesus Movement and it's music by former Hippies was nothing like the traditional hymnal book and High Church music and there were many in the church who were not happy...

The Film then describes how this Jesus Music exploded across the nation and began drawing converts in different cities like Chicago where a band called "Resurrection Band" played extremely loud blues and Rock supporting their true mission of an orphanage for Chicago street kids with nowhere else to go.

The first tour I went on in a fledgling New Wave Christian band with Steve Taylor was opening for Rez Band traveling around the midwest in the dead of winter in a tour bus with no heat. They showed us their orphanage for street Kids in Chicago and that had a profound effect on me...The film brought that all back to my 62 year old memory.

The Film mentions the World famous Evangelist Billy Graham who chose to personally endorse these new former Hippies now saved Born again Musicians and that quieted the many critics of Jesus Music from oddly the established church itself.

A quote from one of the artists in the film is "We were too Rock and Roll for the Church, but too Christian for the World"

Some of the other highly influential names from that era of  fledgling Christian rock and Pop were Larry Norman (who I only saw perform once) and others like second Chapter of Acts and extremely gifted Black Gospel artist Andre Crouch who later became a Pastor.

Moving on to the 1980's where Christian Rock and Pop was beginning to fill some basketball arenas and festivals not unlike their secular counterparts mainly due to a new young singer named Amy Grant. The film and Amy herself is brutally honest in stating she didn't have the greatest voice but sang in a personal style that many Church going teenagers were drawn to. There's also the mention of how the "Princess of Christian Pop" that the church loved her for being very "safe" made a new album called Unguarded showing her in a leopard skin jacket and tights which upset many in the traditional church camp. It was at this point that the Christian band I was a member of opened for Amy at the Forum in Inglewood Calif. and a Reno Nevada Basketball arena where I hung out with some of her musicians, Drummer Keith Edwards, and the late Rich Mullins shooting a few basketball hoops before a show.

My former band mate Steve Taylor is interviewed in two very short segments which could have been longer not just because I was in his band for nearly 7 years, but because his music and story had a large impact on that genre of music in the early to mid 80's for it's satirical sarcastic wit, which lambasted the likes of televangelists Jimmy Swaggart and Robert Tilton who attacked Christian rockers like Stryper, Petra, and Steve Taylor calling it "The music of the Devil" What the film strangely left out was the fact that televangelist Swaggart was caught with a couple of prostitutes not once but twice revealing a massive amount of  pharisaical like hypocrisy...

The Heavy metal Band Stryper takes most of the focus at this point of the film, as they were getting heavy MTV rotation and at one point surpassed even their 80's secular band counterparts in MTV rotation and views back when MTV actually PLAYED music videos all day and all night. The film humorously mentions how Stryper threw bibles into the audience and one account of how a concert goer was struck in the forehead with one.

It's worth noting that Stryper front man Michael Sweet says he came to the Lord Jesus Christ watching Jimmy Swaggart on TV as did his whole family, but then years later watched him attacking the style of music his Christian Heavy metal band Stryper was known for and it devastated him.

Into the 90's the film describes as a watershed era for Christian music for it's reach into the culture and it's sales of records and C.D.s which major record companies were taking notice of...

At this point the film describes how Christian music or what was once called "Jesus Music" became CCM or Contemporary Christian Music and was becoming big business.

Record sales were growing rapidly by artists like D.C. Talk, Stephen Curtis Chapman, the Newsboys, Gospel Artist Kirk Franklin, Be Be and Ce Ce Winans who grew up singing in Black Church settings then rising to sell millions of records.

The issue of Race and the Church comes up several times noting how Martin Luther King said that Sunday morning was the most segregated hour of the week, and how that was also true in Christian Music in spite of many Black artists being signed by large record labels and featured prominently selling very well...I backed up and was a musician in support of some of these Black Gospel artists Be Be and Ce Ce Winans, Ron Kenoly, and Babbie Mason as well as Larnelle Harris on my 4 year stint in the Young Messiah Tour in the mid 90's

The film details how these artists had gone way beyond the church culture and were being featured and interviewed on heavily watched TV shows like Oprah, Arsenio Hall, the Tonight show and others. But many in the church had questions about "Yes we're reaching millions now in the popular culture but what is that doing to the message of the Gospel?"

Into the 2000's the Jesus Music film then describes the sharp turn of Gospel music to a new type of "Christian Music" which wasn't really new at all but a returning back to the true roots of Jesus Music and that is Worship Music. A new generation of young people no longer wanted to be entertained by Christian stars but were yearning for something deeper and intimate. The "Worship Music" phenomenon was birthing itself.

The worship music "stars" if you can call them that were writing and performing songs that seemed to be more TO GOD rather than about God. They were personal letters or Psalms if you will TO GOD. One of these Musicians was Chris Tomlin who the film claims has written songs heard and listened to and sung in Churches all over the world by more people than any songwriter in history. I haven't checked that but I'll take their word for it...I toured with one of the very early " Worship artists" Tommy Walker in the very early 90s in the Phillipines twice and the U.K. Who's not mentioned in the film...

There are many poignant interviews by several artists like Russ Taff a powerful voiced singer that is honest about his struggle with alcohol and his Pentecostal preacher father who was also an alcoholic. I did one tour with Russ in the 90's, The Young Messiah Tour and his segment spoke to me personally.

I've had my own struggles with alcohol myself so no judgment here...just the truth of what this film brings out...

I found myself with an ever softening heart as I continued watching this film realizing I'm not the only Christian musician who has struggled with life and Music. In fact most of these Christian artists have struggled one way or another...

D.C. Talk's Toby Mac's detailing of his 21 year old son's sudden death a couple years ago struck me hard as I lost my own son in 2018 at the tender age of 20, at this point I was crying...Amy Grant's touching story of the Fire camp meetings she puts on at her ranch where a father for the first time broke down and actually grieved for the death of his son...

There are hundreds of artists and songwriters and musicians left out of The Jesus Music Film that had an impact, and I'll try to name the ones I remember...

What I've learned the last 18 months...

 What I've learned in the last 18 months...

#1- Masks don't work, why? Because the Covid virus is so small it goes right through the holes in masks including N 95s.

#2- Many of our political leaders are massive hypocrites, why? Because they don't even abide by the draconian Covid rules and edicts they seek to force us citizens to obey without question... We've witnessed this many many times in 2020 and 2021.

#3- Public health officials that are on TV everyday talking about Covid have changed their minds and flip flopped NUMEROUS times on important issues. Yet it's as if we're expected to believe they know exactly what they're doing when it's obvious even to a perceptive 10 year old they appear to be making it up as they go...

#4- Thousands of small businesses were shut down during the year long lockdowns and it was unnecessary driving many out of business. We were told this was not an option because small restaurants, nightclubs, and music venues were supposedly too small and would spread Covid easily. But large big box stores were allowed to operate with nearly no restrictions. We now know that the Covid virus spreads in large stores as easily as small restaurants or shops. So... officials were either lying to all of us or they had no clue as to what they were doing...

# 5- Churches in almost all states were also told not to meet or meet in a severely  restricted manner for the same reasons as # 4. Churches in California were even told not to SING in service....political leaders in several states had to be forced through lawsuits to allow churches to exercise their constitutionally guaranteed right to worship as they see fit, and the supreme court upheld that right. Politicians had absolutely no qualms squashing freedom of religion for millions of Americans...

 #6- With the emergence of vaccines for Covid, we've learned a few things. The vaccine does work for most people and does not have any serious side effects for those people. But we've also witnessed breakthrough cases where a few people have gotten Covid even after the shot. We also know that people can spread Covid even after getting the shot. Just this week ( August 9, 2021) a cruise ship reported Covid cases even though EVERYONE on board had been vaccinated, including ship employees and guests. We also know for a few people getting the shot has led to serious side effects like palsy on their face or limbs, loss of feeling in and use of limbs for a period of time and even a few thousand deaths. Officials have spoken of deaths from the Covid shot as expected, and compared to the millions that have had the shot and had no side effects it's insignificant, but Say that to the family of a deceased person from a vaccine and they will likely want to sue you or something more drastic. Celebrated blues guitar player Eric Clapton has said he got the shot and regretted it because he had MAJOR problems and was worried he may not perform again. Clapton said he wished he'd not gotten the shot at all...

#7- If we the people don't stand up to our current government officials that appear to be getting used to and enjoying their new found power over us we are on track to lose the REST of our constitutionally guaranteed freedoms.

We're surrounded by little control Freaks...

 There are little control freaks everywhere now...

They're in our governments, in our school systems, in the corporate world, even in our Churches...

They do this because they cannot control their own impulses and lust for power and money...So in order to feel justified and superior they seek control over others they see as Lesser and not Righteous (in their eyes)

Except they have no real righteousness within themselves (which can be seen from their hypocritical actions)

 As evidence I submit our current crop of Democrat politicians like Gavin Newsome, who infamously was photographed at a $600 a plate French Restaurant with his crony friends having no masks on or social distancing, while simultaneously locking down all restaurants and churches telling worshipers they cannot sing in Church.

Or the case of my own state where the Mayor of Denver Michael Hancock, infamously told all of Denver not to travel during Thanksgiving 2020, and then was caught 3 hours later and photographed at Denver Airport boarding a plane to see his daughter for Thanksgiving.

And then there's Fancy Nancy Pelosi who like the Queen of England had a hairdresser shop in her District in San Francisco open up just so she could have her hair done, while the entire City was banned from such niceties because of Covid...

Our northern neighbors in Canada are suffering an even worse form of control freak hypocrisy from their political so called leaders, as they ate at "Sky Palace" high above Calgary's skyline while simultaneously having the police arrest pastors like Artur Pawlowski who once escaped Communist Poland, or Tim Stephens for the sin of opening their churches like normal...

These hypocritical modern day Pharisees that Jesus likened to "Snakes" and "a Brood of Vipers" have created in their own minds an incredible arrogance and superiority complex that gives them the illusion of superiority and the delusion of their own (self) righteousness...

These types must be confronted or they will become the next version of Che's Marxist killer factions, or Castro's similar goon squads, or Hitler's Brown shirts attacking and burning the houses and businesses of those who refuse to bow to their little false Idols. Last summer we witnessed their Goon squads out in nearly every major city for nearly a year...

They have to be stood up to and voted down, prayed down, out flanked, out maneuvered at every turn or we will lose this Country. The price our Christian children and Grandchildren will have to pay will be too high...

I Have Very Good Reasons to Mistrust Some Doctors Today...

I have very good reasons to mistrust some doctors today...

Twenty eight years ago before my first son was born the doctor told us we should think about abortion because our son would be deformed.

I got angry and said "That's not happening" and it turned out our son was not deformed. Either our doctor was lying or she was pushing some sort of agenda...

After doing some research I've learned that within the medical community there are some who think themselves to be gods (Little g), have tossed away their Hippocratic oath to "Do no harm" and believe they can decide who lives and who dies...

It's called Eugenics and it started in the early 1900's with people like Margaret Sanger the mother of Planned Parenthood and others.

Margaret Sanger was extremely racist and was a "Progressive" of her day. She even spoke at a few Klan rallies. No, I'm not kidding...

Today this mindset still exists but is couched in insidious terms like "Choice" and "Women's health"

This sort of thinking and ideology is demonic and has been adopted by mainstream American society.

Today the child that our doctor suggested should be aborted has a four year degree from Colorado Christian University and is Married to the Christian woman he met at that College...

You see what Satan planned and tried to do for evil has backfired and is now turning out for great good...

Another shooting in my State. Why?

 So,

Here we are once again...

The makeshift memorial gets set up and grieving mourning citizens place flowers and cards, candles and teddy bears honoring 10 slain good people in my state...

This time it's Boulder, a city I've performed band gigs in many, many times for clubs or weddings or casual events.

I've typed many times before of an attachment to Columbine and Century 16 theater shootings in previous blogs so I won't do that here.

I'm going to focus here instead on why I believe these tragedies keep occuring...

Our culture has become a culture of death...That's as succinct as I can put it.

We've been teaching younger generations than mine since 1973 that life is worthless and something to be discarded and thrown away...

How? You say?

Well, let's look at recent american history...

1973 was a pivotal point for our nation. We suddenly went from a country that respected ALL life to one that began saying "These little lives are not worth much, we should abort, tear apart limb from limb and throw them in the trash"

Yes, I'm talking about abortion...

Some will say " I have the right to choose!" And that would be correct...

But what is that choice?

The choice is the death of another, separate tiny human life made in God's image stated clearly in God's word, the bible.

We as a nation made that fateful decision way back when I was in the ninth grade, that certain lives are not worth living while other lives are worth living...

We began saying as a Nation MY WILL BE DONE rather than THY WILL BE DONE.

Yes that's a bible quote straight from the book of Matthew 6:10 where Jesus said 

Thy Kingdom come THY will be done on earth as it is in heaven...

Why do you suppose Our Lord Jesus Christ stated this is how you should pray?

Because Jesus being fully God and fully human knew human nature...

Jesus knew how selfish and self centered we human beings are...

He knew that for all humans, ALL humans we are basically very self absorbed, self centered, narcissistic people that most times look out for our own selfish interests and selfish desires rather than others interests...Christ knew us well...

So, in the Lord's prayer He made sure we would focus on GOD'S will, rather than our own, and said, this is how you should pray. Take your focus OFF yourselves and focus on GOD and His will to get us thinking and praying less selfishly...

The Catholic Nun Mother Teresa who served the extremely poor in Calcutta said this about abortion, and still holds true today.

"The greatest destroyer of peace in the world today is abortion, because it is a war, a direct killing" And...

"If we accept that a mother can kill even her own child, how can we tell one another not to kill"

The Boulder accused shooter is an Islamic man named Ahmad Al Aliwi Alissa and is charged with 10 counts of murder including that of a Boulder Police officer Eric Talley a Catholic man who had seven children and a wife who are now fatherless and a she a widow.

Immediately after the shooting and the video was released to media of Alissa walking with a bloodied leg with Boulder Police escorting him, Twitter liberal progressives including celebrities indignantly and joyfully were posting things like " See, I knew it would be a white Trump supporter" 

Except Alissa isn't a white Trump supporter, he's originally from Syria, and is a Muslim man...So, he's the exact opposite of a White Trump supporter.

Those same liberal progressives began eating crow and pulling their tweets down very quickly...

Police are saying " No motive is known at this time"

Which, to this observer seems ingenuous...

Because of these facts, the Boulder shooters name and religious affiliation have been completely scrubbed from nearly all national media, and the story has all but disappeared from the media narrative (except locally in Colorado)  because the truth of this shooting and it's shooter goes directly against the Mainstream liberal progressive propaganda that ALL white Trump supporters are violence prone, and all Muslims are from the Religion of Peace. Doesn't fit the narrative so the story must disappear from the 6PM network evening news...our media is lying constantly These days but that's another blog...

Meanwhile in Colorado we once again have to bury 10 deceased brothers, father's, mothers, Sisters and coworkers...

When will people wakeup and when will this all end...

How Cancel Culture began...

 I was walking today and began thinking about "Cancel Culture"

Surely you've heard of this... the Cancel culture online on Twitter or Facebook or Tik Tok etc. that seems to be all the Rage (pun intended) these days...

So where did "Cancel Culture" come from?

People now in 2021 or 2020, or even 2019, that have been so enraged at someone on social media that types or says something this person disagrees with, a Mob of like minded Twitterati that fully believe they have the god given right to not only disagree with the person with a differing idea, but they have the right to personally berate, bully, sling personal insults at, condemn, or even report said offensive persons post to a higher authority of some sort...As we've seen the last few years the "Twitter Mobs" are quite effective, shutting down speech of very well known people, or just your own kid in the sixth grade. It's even gotten to the point where the Twitter Mobs are now out in the streets attacking homes of Congressmen, Senators or Mayors who are not necessarily Conservative or on the political right at all but on the political left...I'm sure that came as a shock to some Democrat Politicians recently...

I recall about 8-9 years ago reading an article by a very liberal professor at a very prestigious university who was alarmed by his students showing up on Campus speaking events of well known speakers like Milo Yiannopoulis or Ann Coulter, or Ben Shapiro or other speakers with very conservative beliefs and ideas and watching his students forming shout down groups, or walking into these speakers events and using bullhorns to shout down said conservative authors and speakers, or even get somewhat contentious and maybe even violent protesting that these conservative speakers were even INVITED to speak at their Campuses...

This Prof was now telling his own students "Hey, wait a minute, You shouldn't be violently shouting down speech of those you disagree with, that's not my message"

I was amazed at this liberal progressive Professors profound blindness and naivete..."Seriously?" I thought. "You created these little monsters, surely you know that right?" 

Here was a Professor at an Ivy League University that was so blind to the fact that for years or even decades he and a thousand other Left wing socialist, Anti God, anti capitalist College teachers have pumped into young minds that "America is a bad evil place, America has never been great, America is a Racist nation, Most Conservatives and Republicans are white racists and secretly KKK members, conservative Christians are homophobic Islamophobic bigots, the conservative right are narrow minded bigots, All Trump voters and conservatives are inherently racists and White supremacists, the conservative Republican right are deplorable ignorant white southern racists that still have the Dixie flag in their garages" And suddenly this Teacher is SHOCKED that his students are now rioting on Campus because Ann Coulter. or Ben Shapiro, or Pamela Geller or Dennis Prager showed up to give a speech on Ideas he's been drilling into these kids heads are "The most backwards evil propaganda since Adolph Hitler and Rudolph Hess were goose stepping in Berlin"

That an Ivy League professor finally woke up and began seeing his own Campus students rioting and canceling the speech of well known conservative authors was somehow wrong and a violation of free speech had finally dawned on him, But he still was unaware that it was HIS OWN dogma and TAUGHT IDEOLOGIES served into these 18-21 year olds impressionable brains that was the cause of it surprised me...

He had no Inkling...

Which leads me to C.S. Lewis' Quote from "The Abolition of Man"

In other words less cerebral than Lewis'  It's the college profs own far left wing anti American, humanist, socialist, anti God, Communist, hate America first Lectures that are causing these College kids to take bullhorns into the streets and pipes or bats or boards with nails in them (and more recently guns) so as to not only shout down Milo or Ben Shapiro's speeches but for the last 10 months loot a few Wal-Marts, burn a few hundred Cop cars, attack a Police station, and destroy several hundred small businesses of even Black Small business owners...

The professor who seemed shocked at what his Campus students were beginning to do 8 years ago, is just one example of I'm sure a thousand others perhaps not as naive and innocent as this one mentioned, but I think many, many others who knew EXACTLY what they were drilling into impressionable  students minds and that's been their plan all along...

And for those types I offer some Bible scripture...

Prophetic Biblical implications of Ghostbusters

 I've been watching Ghostbusters incessantly over the last 4 years, and now I think I know why...

The film beloved by millions and myself has an appeal unlike many other top films, why is that?

Is there something deeper to the writers intent in the fun comedic ghost filled movie? Or did Dan Ackroyd and Harold Ramis (Script and Screenwriters) just accidentally touch on something much deeper?

How deep one might say? I say, prophetically and biblically deep and here's why...

As millions of us fans know Ghostbusters entails the trio of supernatural Ghost hunters played by actors Bill Murray as Peter Venkman, Dan Ackroyd as Ray Stantz, and Harold Ramis as Egon Spengler, later joined by a fourth character Winston Zeddemore played by Ernie Hudson.

The trio are scientists at a University and not very good scientists as they get fired and kicked out of their college mostly because Peter Venkman is a sort of Con Man who seems more interested in finding young college girls to chase than working on his scientific experiments.

Call it Fate, call it Luck...

The trio of parasychologists get kicked out by the dean but Venkman realizes it's meant to be, he understands there's something bigger at play than just the Dean of the College rejecting their "Theories of the worst kind of popular tripe"

Peter Venkman whether he realizes it or not already believes in something bigger than himself, perhaps fate, or luck or possibly even a belief in God.

We are given hints of what the Ghostbusters believe throughout the film but we'll get to that later.

So, taking a leap of faith, the trio take the plunge and start a business using Ray Stantz's House as collateral, Egon Spengler the smartest and most truly scientific of the three delares, "The interest rate alone comes to ninety five thousand dollars in five years"

I heard a voice say Zuul...

Enter the female love interest and one of the key players in the film Dana Barrett played by the accomplished and beautiful Sigourney Weaver who's been dubbed by many as "The Queen of Sci Fi"

Dana's character encounters a being of some kind in her refrigerator named "Zuul" which looks somewhat like a Demonic dog and the filmakers even named these beasts "Demon Dogs"

"Not your typical behavior for a major appliance"

The bizarre encounter by Dana takes her to see the Ghostbusters who do a few tests on her declaring they will begin to investigate the strange being in her refrigerator. Peter Venkman instantly is attracted to the beautiful Ms. Barrett and investigates Dana's NYC apartment but finding nothing to Dana's consternation and aggravation where he admits "I'm madly in love with You"

I'm going to completely change gears here and reveal what I feel are some very interesting if not down right creepy parallels between Ghostbusters written produced and filmed way back in 1984 and what we in this Country are right now experiencing in September of 2020.

Anyone that's alive today understands we are in unprecedented unchartered territory, with the Corona virus pandemic, racial and civil unrest not seen in 5 decades, and a spring and summer of unrest and violence from riots or so called Protests that have engulfed America this year, as well as massive fires in several western states from Calif. to Colorado which have caused apocalyptic orange skies over much of California and other western states, and these things don't seem to be going away.

In Ghostbusters, some very strange things are happening, ghosts or some sort of spirits are appearing all over New York City which is why the Ghostbusters are becoming so busy. In one scene where Winston Zeddemore their new hire and Ray Stantz are riding in the car Winston who reveals he believes in God, and "Loves Jesus' Style" asks Ray if he believes in God, which Ray says "He's never met him" meaning, no, he doesn't really believe in God. 

Winston responds "Ray, do you remember something in the bible about the dead rising from the grave?" But by the end of the conversation Ray, who apparently had some Bible knowledge at some point quotes the book of Revelation (actually misquoting the wrong verse number, it's Rev. 6:12 not 7:12) "And I looked, and He opened the sixth seal, and the Sun turned black as sackcloth, and the Moon became as Blood..."

To which Winston responds "And the Skies fell and the seas boiled" both saying "Judgment day"

Ray however still not believing says "Every ancient religion has it's own myth about the end of the world" To which Winston the Christian says "Myth? Ray, has it ever occurred to you that the reason we've been so busy lately is because the Dead HAVE BEEN rising from the grave." And Ray suddenly and alarmingly realizes that perhaps Winston is right wanting "A little Music" as a comfort...

Winston in this one scene convinces Ray previously agnostic that perhaps the reason they are very busy is because the biblical notion of the Dead rising from their graves is what is causing the "Ghosts" showing up all over Manhattan. Interestingly, this scene ends with a long and wide shot of the car going over a bridge with the Two Towers in the direct background which as we all know were completely destroyed 17 years later killing 3,000 people, the most deadly attack on the United states since Pearl Harbor.

Nineteen years after that deadly attack, and a war that has stretched on since America is now facing what I and several other Biblically literate observers are seeing that can only be described as the prercursors to Judgment, yes, that's what I said. A Pandemic that cannot be stopped or a cure found (yet), civil strife and unrest and violence this year (2020) that I have not witnessed since the early 1970's Vietnam protest era, a complete lockdown or stalling of the American economy for millions (including myself, I have not played a Music job or band gig or Church gig this year), Churches being told they cannot have more than 50 people in some states and in California, Churches have been ordered to NOT SING and some are facing fines or even possible jail time just for having church indoors. The U.S. Government, the Congress is no longer working, no longer operating because the two political sides are at each others throats. Millions of Americans are at each others throats arguing politics on social media. 

In Ghostbusters, the Quartet of Spiritual soldiers get thrown in jail as a sniveling micro managing control freak agent from the Environmental protection agency decides he will turn off their protection grid that keeps all the ghosts and spiritual entities locked up which unleashes literal hell into NYC.

I submit to you dear reader that we, the people of God, the church, the followers of Jesus are the equivalent of the Ghostbusters holding back and keeping in check the dark demonic spiritual forces that are right this very day threatening to completely tear apart and destroy America...and just like in the movie there are a large number of completely unaware, spiritually dead government officials unwittingly starting to release dark, destructive demons or "ghosts" by their stupidity and lack of spiritual discernment in this nation. And they have no clue that they're aiding and abetting this...

How odd, In the Movie an incompetent Government official goes after a small business trying to shut them down, and in 2020 in America we have Hair salon Owners being railroaded and thrown under the bus by a powerful government official named Nancy Pelosi who used her powerful position to get her hair cut and blow dried while NONE of us little people can do the same. In Denver a racetrack wanting to open for their drag racing season but mandated they cannot, has been sued by the state of Colorado and Jefferson County as they had an event for about 2,000 3,000 people. Simultaneously the Governor has allowed the Glorified NFL Denver Broncos to have 7,500 people at an NFL game, just nobody like myself can play a gig in a club in the city of Denver.

As the Ghostbusters are taken from jail to the NYC Mayors office as he's in a bind trying to deal with Ghostly (or Demonic) entities that are causing havoc all over NYC. Our heroes declare "A disaster of biblical proportions" is about to be unleashed upon NYC unless something is done...The Catholic Bishop shows up and declares " personally Lenny, I think it's a sign from God, but dont quote me on that"  revealing that the Bishop of NYC is not willing to put his religious career and high position in jeopardy by speaking the truth.

Meanwhile, the would be girlfriend of Peter Venkman has been literally possessed by the entity from her refrigerator Zuul. If you've read the Bible at all you know that it deals with the reality of demons as if they definitely exist. Jesus cast numerous demons out of several people including a boy that threw himself into the fire, and a man so demon possessed that he would break chains and run naked through the countryside. Oddly, the town where this possessed man came from were so freaked out by what Jesus did putting the man in his right mind again that they made him leave.

Dr. Venkman witnesses Dana's possession as she attempts to seduce him into a sexual encounter thinking he is the other possesed human needed to complete the sexual ritual and thus bringing the larger demon entity Gozer, the destructor. In many ancient religions and even in ancient Israel the reason God judged those nations was because they had adopted the demonic, false god worshiping religions like Baal worship, and the most hideous of these religions Molech worship, which entailed the parents of a first born child "sacrificing" the baby to the god Molech which was a huge brass Idol that was heated to thousands of degrees, and then the abomination of putting the first born child into this fiery Idol would burn the child alive. In many of these ancient religions temple worship included perverted orgies that they believed pleased their ( false) gods.

I have written before about how today in so called modern America we have now gotten to the point of sacrificing our own children to the god of "Choice" which of course is the holocaust of modern abortion. 60 million babies made in God's image (which He states in Psalms and other places) have been sacrificed in this manner thinking "Life will be better and easier" 

In a well known ceremony last year New York's governor Cuomo signed a bill surrounded by abortion proponents that would enable the destruction and killing of an unborn baby right up until the day it would have been born, and it was CHEERED by the onlookers...We are no further along than the ancient Pagan nations religious rituals that sacrificed children that the Israelites adopted...

In one scene in particular Dana Barrett now possessed by Zuul, is seen after her apartment is blown apart sitting in a chair, her legs spread wide open as if she were a whore, and she is sitting in front of the blown out wall behind her which looks a whole lot like a cutout of the shape of the United States. in the distance is the skyline of New York City. After looking at this scene hundreds of times I've deduced that the writers of the film were either purposefully or unintentionally showing Dana Barrett as the Biblical Whore of Babylon in Revelation, waiting in a sexual pose for the other Possessed character Vinz Glortho (Played by Rick Moranis) and visually saying here's the Biblical Whore of Babylon, New York City, and America, which is about to be judged and visited by Demonic forces of Immense power, and possibly destruction, because she loved her sexual demonic perversions and blood spilling child killing more than she loved God.

Here's hoping that I'm wrong, and some Ghostbusters like spiritual heroes and prayer warriors can arrive in 2020 as we watch not just New York City which has become a "Ghost Town" and numerous other American cities that are struggling under an actual pandemic, violence, and fires of biblical Proportions before the REAL Stay Puft Man destroys New York City and America for good.

I've been assaulted twice in the last 5 years

 I've been assaulted twice in the last 5 years,

Not physically but guys getting right up in my face wanting to start an altercation. Once in Downtown Denver by a homeless guy I was actually trying to give food to while waiting to play a gig, and last year by a Dad of a kid at my crossing guard Job who got an inch from my face screaming "Fu%$ You Fu%$# You for two minutes. That Dad is in jail now btw...

What I learned from this is that our society was getting very coarse, very uncaring and yes more and more violent...Here we are now in 2020 and Riots are happening in multiple cities, people are looting Wal-Marts and Targets while some say they have the RIGHT to do so.

People are burning down small businesses that black and white families have spent decades building, and some say "It's just stuff, they have a right to do that" A white person of 20 years old will get an inch from a black cops face and give him the finger calling him a Fu$#%@ Pig, and then shout 5 minutes later "Black Lives Matter!".

We've watched large groups of young people walk onto an interstate freeway blocking traffic for hours and if people attempt to drive through they pull them out of their cars and beat them. State Capitols and Churches and Synagogues have been vandalized with graffiti or worse with looting and destruction.

Young people seemed to believe they had the right to Tear down statues from civil war era heroes to slavery abolitionists and even Abraham Lincoln because they are so incredibly ignorant of American History. And City Government leaders did nothing to stop them, so why shouldn't they?

Churches in California are forced and told NO SINGING while the same City Government leaders will go out and march with several thousand people half of whom are not wearing masks and shouting "Black Lives Matter!" Apparently the Corona Virus automatically differentiates between a large street protest and a Church service...

We've seen young black men cold cock an older white man in the head as he was trying to keep his business from being looted or burned to the ground, and young black thugs who shot a retired Black Police officer as he tried to protect his friends store, and then they streamed the killing live on Facebook.

And amazingly most Media from Local affiliates to National networks seem to only be concerned with a scant few white cops who shoot a young black man because he was resisting arrest that had a lengthy rap sheet with some felonies and then we're told "These are Mostly Peaceful Protests"

In my nearly 62 years on this Planet I've seen some strange stuff, especially in foreign countries, but I've never seen anything quite like we're experiencing right now.

But this I do know...God is still in control, and He's watching ALL of this. He's telling us to REPENT, which means TURN AROUND, and stop doing what you're doing.

Especially leaders, civic leaders, church leaders...STOP lying to the people, stop encouraging them to continue raging in the streets, stop telling the People lies that it's OK to keep on sinning, It's OK to keep on hating your adversaries and filling the streets with rage and violence, it's OK to hate the other guy who votes differently than you do. At some point God Himself will say "That's enough" and HE will fix this mess if we cannot, or refuse to ourselves.

The Duplicity of the Liberal Progressive mind.

As Some of my readers know, I was once almost 40 years ago a liberal Progressive Democrat.

 I voted for Jimmy Carter in College back in 1976 and then sat back and watched Jimmy weaken our military, tell us to turn down our thermostats and put sweaters on to save energy, made us drive 55 MPH even for excruciating long distance drives, and completely turned the Iran Hostage situation into a laughable boondoggle that he had no idea how to handle...

It was at that point I really began to think hard about my own mindset, or why I believed and thought in ideological terms as a Liberal Democrat...

An unsettling feeling came over me around 1979 watching Carters ineptness as a President and leader
of our nation and why he was so inept...

I have no doubts that Jimmy is a good man who says he's a Christian and even teaches Sunday school, but something was beginning to really bother me about his (and my own) mindset and belief system and the beliefs of my liberal progressive compatriots across this nation...

It then dawned on me that what was occurring inside my own heart and head was a revealing of a  duplicity or double mindedness that I was becoming aware of in myself as well as those who called themselves Liberals...

Thoughts began forming in my young mind about the duplicity of people like myself and ALL liberal Democrats like "Wait a minute, I claim to be personally against abortion, but I also say a Woman has a right to Choose to have an abortion"

Or "Hold on now, I say and all liberals say we're against environmental degradation, but I'm noticing a lot of Liberal Democrats are leaving trash all over the place at their protests" or "Now wait, I'm saying and believing I'm a good and moral person but I'm sleeping with my college girlfriend and partying too much"

It was as if a light bulb had gone off in my head that was telling me "Wait, you're saying one thing, but in your own personal actions and what you actually do seems to be saying something else"
It was a "Enlightenment" of my own conscience if you will...

I began to notice this type of Duplicitous and double minded thinking in nearly every liberal Democrat I watched in the news, or heard speak, or thought about voting for...

Years later watching then President Bill Clinton get caught up in a sex scandal of his own making with a 21 year old intern named Monica Lewinsky, I heard and watched a man that Democrats defended and made excuses for over and over again. Many still make excuses for Bill Clinton's dalliances and sexual escapades with not just one or two women but SCORES of women who were coming out of the closet to say that Governor Clinton in Arkansas had sexually assaulted or even raped them...

Yet these same people that excused and voted for this reprehensible man (and his enabling controlling wife years later) claimed to be good Christian people and were church goers who believed themselves to be moral people...Worse yet these same liberals currently were harshly attacking the present day President Mr. Trump for some "Bad words" towards women he'd spoken years before he was even running for President. Those very same liberal Democrats have spoken and typed some incredibly foul mouthed and offensive sentences about Melania Trump the Presidents wife...

I began to question how can people who think of themselves as decent law abiding church going people completely justify and excuse the reprehensible and immoral behavior of a known sexual assaulter Bill Clinton, but still put him and his deceitful manipulating wife back in the white house? And now believe that somehow that is a more moral choice for this nation?

It's because these folks have completely deluded and deceived themselves over many years by saying and claiming one set of moral standards with their mouths or their pens, but then contradict themselves by ACTING OUT and VOTING FOR a completely different set of moral standards...

Take abortion again...Liberal progressive Democrats still to this day hold two completely contradictory thoughts and beliefs in their heads concerning the murder of unborn human life made in God's Image. (Genesis 1:26-27)

How you might say?
Well, How many times have we heard a liberal say "I'm personally against abortion, but I believe a woman has every right to choose an abortion even right up until the baby is born"
You see, these are two completely contradictory and opposite beliefs and thoughts...You cannot possibly be both against abortion as they claim, AND be pro choice simultaneously...the thoughts and beliefs contradict one another...One cannot say "I'm against abortion" and then state simultaneously "I firmly believe a woman has every right to abort and kill her own child and I call that a woman's choice"

Let's take another example, Homosexual Marriage...
The liberal progressive and liberal church goer will say "I believe the Bible is God's word"
and then in the next breath say "I believe two people that love each other have a right to get married, I believe in Marriage equality"
Yet the bible liberals claim to believe in states without a shadow of a doubt numerous times that Marriage between or even sex between a man and a man or a woman and a woman is an abomination in the LORD'S eyes and is expressly forbidden. (Leviticus 18:22, 1 Corinthians 6:9, 1 Timothy 1:10, Romans 1:27)
You cannot entertain "Marriage equality" and also claim to believe that the bible is God's word...those are contradicting statements and beliefs...

In the Bible Jesus had extremely harsh words for the duplicitous and double minded religious leaders of his day called the Pharisees and the Sadducees.

You see Jesus reached the point where He saw completely through the facade of religiosity and the mind boggling hypocrisy of the Jewish leaders, who had great religious and political power, and could force all citizens to strictly abide by their extremely hard to follow draconian rules and regulations about food, manner of cleanliness, sexual purity, and religious practice.

 But Christ revealed to EVERYONE how these leaders never followed their own edicts and broke their own harsh regulations and rules. In other words when he called these hypocrites "A brood of Vipers", and "Snakes" he was calling them out on their double standards and duplicitous minds and behavior. (Matthew 12:34, Luke 3:7)

As everyone knows that's exactly why the religious leaders plotted and planned to kill Jesus Christ because of their own duplicitous thinking and double mindedness.

That too however turned out for all human kinds good and was our salvation for those of us who believe in Him...
